Become a MOP Partner:
What does it mean to
be a MOP Partner?
Simply put, MOP partner organizations view integrated multi-use ocean management as positive step for Massachusetts and support the implementation of MOP’s Strategic Plan to advance ocean management
Partner organizations or agencies are:
• Willing to engage collaboratively with
other partners across sectors and interests
• Invited to participate in efforts to make ocean management
in MA a reality
• Acknowledged in MOP public information materials
Partner organizations or agencies are NOT:
• Constrained in their issue or policy
positions beyond that of supporting the Strategic Plan as
a whole
How can my organization
or agency become a Partner?
Partnership is open to anyone who endorses the
Strategic Plan and who seeks Partnership status from the MOP
Governing Board. Organizations that provide resources to support
MOP efforts may also be Partners. If your organization is interested
in becoming a Partner, please complete and sign the Statement
of Endorsement indicating your support for MOP’s Strategic
Plan and return it to: Stephanie Moura, Executive Director.
